1. Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput was best known for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Kai Po Che and Chhichore. He made his debut by acting in the daily soap ‘ Pavitra Rishta’. Sushant chose showbiz while he was studying engineering in one of India’s best engineering colleges. He was just 34 when he bid farewell to this world. His death still remains a mystery.

2. Sidharth Shukla 

TV heartthrob and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla, who starred in several popular television shows passed away at the age of 40. He is well known for his work in Balika Vadhu, Dil Se Dil Tak, Broken But Beautiful 3, Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania. His dismal was due to a massive heart attack. Fans are still grieving over his loss.

3. Pratyusha Banerjee 

Pratyusha Banerjee was a telly star who started off her career with Balika Vadhu. She also took part in Bigg Boss 7, but in 2016, the actress died by suicide at the mere age of 24.

4. Divya Bharti 

This beautiful actress started acting at a young age when she was 16. She was a Hindi Cinema star. She is well recognised for her work in movies like Vishwatma, Shola Aur Shabnam, Deewana and Dil Aashna Hai. But as fate intervened, Divya left the world at the age of just 19.

5. Jiah Khan 

Jiah was so talented that she made her debut in the movie called Nishabd starring opposite Amitabh Bachchan. She’s also worked in Housefull and Ghajini. She was just 25, the actress left this world as she reportedly died by suicide.

6. Smita Patil 

One of the finest faces and talents of the Hindi film fraternity. She’s won two National Film Awards as well and did films like Manthan, Bhumika, Aakrosh and Ardh Satya. At the age of 31, the actress died due to childbirth complications while giving birth to her son, Prateik Babbar, who took her acting legacy ahead.

7. Guru Dutt 

Guru Dutt proved his versatility by being an actor, director, producer, choreographer and writer and his most notable works include Pyaasa, Kaagaz Ke Phool and Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam. It was at the age of 39 that the actor was found dead in his rented apartment.

8. Meena Kumari 

Known as the ‘ Tragedy Queen’ was the most beautiful actress and was a true epitome of elegance. She worked in movies like Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, Pakeezah, Parineeta and Baiju Bawra. However, three days after Pakeezah’s release, the actress fell very ill and fell into a coma, finally succumbing to it on March 31, 1972. She was just 38 at that time.

9. Madhubala 

The Marilyn Monroe of India. Madhubala was the timeline beauty of Hindi Film Cinema. Her beauty is eternal so much so that thousands of people gathered at the studio gates just to catch a glimpse of her. She started acting at the age of 9 and ever since then has been giving blockbusters. Madhubala passed away in 1969 at the age of 36 owing to some long-standing medical complications of the heart and lungs.

10. Irfan Khan 

He was an actor who was blessed with abundant talent. Time and again he proved how fine his acting skills are. The 53 years old talented actor passed away in 2020 of a colon infection after a couple of years of treatment for a rare neuroendocrine tumour.
