Karan Mehra shares an adorable video of son Kavish; Says “100 days of emotional hurricanes of missing you my son”

Karan Mehra is fighting a legal battle for divorce with his wife Nisha Rawal. Amid their ongoing feud, the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actor shared an old video of his son, Kavish Mehra hoping to meet him and says that he wants to protect his son from all evil.

Sharing the video, Karan wrote in the caption, “100 days of emotional hurricanes of missing you my son. Hoping to reunite with you, being able to protect you from all evil and being the father that I am destined to be.”

Last month too Karan had shared a video of him playing with Kavish. Sharing the video, he wrote, “75 days since I saw you last little Mehra @kavishmehra and counting.”

In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Nisha said, “He called just once on Kavish’s birthday (June 14) on an actor friend’s number to wish him. He posted a picture of gifts he had ordered for Kavish on his birthday. I want to know why those gifts never reached our son. Let me tell you, he hasn’t called Kavish even once since his birthday.”

Nisha spoke to ETimes about her domestic abuse. She said, “Whenever we had a heated argument or he would hit me, he made sure it happened in the bedroom where there were no cameras.” She adds, “On June 30, I along with my rakhi brother, Rohit Sethia, tried to talk to him about parting ways amicably. One thing led to another and while we were in the bedroom, he slapped me, pulled me by my hair, and banged my head to the wall. That’s when I approached the police.”
