Tata Power Emerges Sole Winner in Home Automation at Ministry of Power Conference

Tata Power’s EZ Home has won the Home Automation category at the AI/ML National Conference organised by the Ministry of Power at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, emerging as the only winner in the category.

The conference evaluated AI/ML-enabled solutions impacting India’s power distribution ecosystem. From 195 entries, only 51 solutions were shortlisted for final assessment. EZ Home was selected over solutions from Genus, Schneider Electric, Blaze and Adani.

The platform integrates smart meters with home automation using AI/ML analytics, offering energy-efficient, consumer-focused home management. EZ Home allows users to track real-time electricity consumption, automate usage patterns and control appliances remotely.

The solution includes Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as smart switches, sensors, IR controllers, smart plugs and retrofit modules, supported by an application and voice assistants.

Evaluation was conducted by a jury including members from NPTI, Google India, Microsoft India, Meta India and SARVAM. Tata Power also secured recognition in the AMISP category during the conference.
