PNB Housing Finance Backs ‘Housing for All’ With ₹1,530 Cr Push in Maharashtra

PNB Housing Finance Limited is strengthening its role in advancing housing development in Maharashtra through increased support for beneficiaries under PMAY-U 2.0, with sanctions of nearly ₹1,530 crore extended to over 10,000 eligible customers.

The company is focusing on simplifying access to housing finance for first-time homebuyers while supporting the government’s ‘Housing for All’ agenda. Maharashtra continues to be a strategic market for PNB Housing Finance, with a strong on-ground presence through 47 branches, including 25 Roshni branches dedicated to affordable housing.

Through its Roshni Home Loans and emerging markets lending solutions, the company is targeting underserved segments, including informal and self-employed customers, enabling wider financial inclusion across semi-urban regions.

To increase awareness of PMAY-U 2.0, PNB Housing Finance plans to intensify mass outreach campaigns across Maharashtra. These include interactive sessions in semi-urban districts and targeted programmes for listed beneficiaries to help them understand eligibility criteria, interest subsidy benefits, and the end-to-end loan application process.
