ZKW Group CEO Leads Commemorative Ceremony of Neolite ZKW’s Pune Plant

Neolite ZKW Lightings Limited organised the commemorative ceremony of its newly operational automotive lighting manufacturing facility in Pune, with Won Yong Hwang, CEO of ZKW Group GmbH, leading the event.

The Pune facility, which began commercial operations in December 2025, is designed to manufacture automotive lighting products and components, including moulding, surface treatment, and assembly operations. The company said the plant will cater to a broad spectrum of vehicle categories, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, off-road vehicles, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers.

Speaking on the occasion, Won Yong Hwang said, “India continues to emerge as a strategic market for the global automotive industry. Neolite ZKW’s expansion in Pune represents a positive step toward advancing next-generation automotive lighting solutions, and we look forward to continued collaboration in technology and innovation.”

The company added that the facility will also support lighting solutions for electric vehicles, in line with the industry’s transition toward electrification and sustainability.
