Ashok Leyland Strengthens Western India Focus with Expanded LCV Network

Ashok Leyland has announced a significant expansion of its Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) network in Maharashtra and Western India, with plans to introduce 30 additional touchpoints over the next year.

The company currently operates 150 touchpoints in the region, supported by 29 dealer partners, 130 service workshops, and over 350 Ashok Leyland Trained Technicians (ALTTs). This setup ensures service support every 35 kilometres. The upcoming expansion aims to improve accessibility further by reducing the gap to 25 kilometres between service points.

The expansion strategy is driven by Western India’s strong economic growth, increasing infrastructure development, and rising demand for LCVs. Ashok Leyland seeks to strengthen its market position while addressing region-specific transportation needs.

Mr. Viplav Shah, Head – LCV Business, Ashok Leyland said, “The expansion of the LCV networking in Maharashtra and the entire Western region will be a game changer for us. Along with Best-in-Class Mileage, Payload, Loading Area, Comfort and Reliability that our LCV range offers, now we are taking a big step in multiplying our service reach. We remain committed to strengthening our presence in the Western region, which is a key market for us.”

The company stated that it continues to leverage innovation and advanced technology to drive growth and reinforce its leadership in the commercial vehicle segment. By offering tailored transportation solutions to multiple industries, Ashok Leyland aims to contribute to the region’s economic progress while setting new standards in customer-focused mobility.
