Amitabh Bachchan remembers late Dilip Kumar on 99th birth anniversary

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday, recalled his friend and film legend, late Dilip Kumar on the event of his 99th birth anniversary.

Taking to his blog, Bachchan honoured the memory of the late star in a post that read, ” In remembrance,

Dilip Kumar birth Anniversary 11th December .. he would have been 99! Whenever the history of the Indian Film Industry shall be written it shall ever be: ‘before Dilip Kumar; after Dilip Kumar.’

Dilip Kumar, who would have turned 99 today, died on July 7 because of prolonged illness.

Bachchan, who shared the silver screen with Kumar in Ramesh Sippy’s 1982 action-crime movie Shakti’ payed accolade for the late actor in a moving post that read, “An institution has gone… whenever the history of Indian Cinema will be written, it shall always be ‘before Dilip Kumar, and after Dilip Kumar’… My duas for peace of his soul and the strength to the family to bear this loss… Deeply saddened.”
