Lara Dutta opens up on Mahesh Bhupathi, Leander Paes relationship: “They can never be separated from each other”

Lara Dutta has expressed her thoughts on the strained equation between former tennis partners Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes. The actress expressed that her better half Mahesh and Leander will keep on having a ‘love-hate relationship’ with one another. Talking to Free Press Journal, Lara expressed, “They can never be separated from each other. Mahesh and Leander are going to have this love-hate relationship throughout their life.”

Mahesh Bhupathi and Lara Dutta got married in 2011, the couple completed a decade of togetherness this year. Talking about their marriage, Lara had recently told ETimes, “All people who are married know that it’s not easy. It’s literally a partnership. It’s about two people, working every single day to make the partnership work. Mahesh and I both come from similar backgrounds and have had humble beginnings. Our parents on both sides worked extremely hard to give us the opportunities that we’ve had in life. And so, we understand the value of hard work; we’re both very respectful of each other and very considerate of each other’s careers. He’s extremely supportive of mine.”

On the work front, Lara Dutta was most recently seen in Bell Bottom’, portraying the role of late Indira Gandhi.
