“Pandemic has come with a blessing in disguise”, says actor Amit Sadh
Since last two years work plans have gone for a toss. Since the time the pandemic has hit restrictions and lockdown have been called up on to control the growing number of COVID patients. Each time a wave subsides, another variation of the virus advances calling for restrictions being introduced all over again.
While this cycle has hit work schedules of many, Amit Sadh who believes in seeing everything in a positive light feels that the circumstance has been a blessing in disguise. He says, “Things are looking okay now. The numbers are going down and I am back to shoot. I believe that everything comes with a blessing in disguise. When I wasn’t shooting for my projects I got time to spend at home, especially with my dogs, who I missed spending time with. They have also been very upset with me for not being a good daddy. So, I was being a good parent and spent my days and nights with my boys.”
He feels that his problems are miniscule as compared to the issues many are facing during these times. “Yes, I am dying for the time to come back where we are busy shooting and films are playing in the theatres full time. But then people have suffered so much. I am lucky to have a shelter above my head and a job, there are so many who lost that too. Some also didn’t have money to have their food. Seeing their problems, I can’t complain about mine. I am not in a position to complain at all. Yes shooting in these times is a challenge. There is a flexibility that’s required right now in terms of how we plan and execute our projects. You take it up as a challenge and not get disappointed.”
