Amitabh Bachchan-starrer ‘Jhund’ to hit theatres on March 4 , see new poster

After much ado, the makers of Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Jhund’ will be releasing the movie on March 4, 2022. The movie has been helmed by Marathi director Nagraj Manjule of ‘Sairat’ fame.

Big B took to his Twitter account to share a new poster of the movie alongside the announcement of the new release date. He captioned it, ‘T 4178 – Iss toli se muqaabla karne ke liye raho taiyaar! Humari team aa rahi hai ⚽Goal net #Jhund releasing on 4th Mar 2022 in cinemas near you.’

In the poster, Mr Bachchan is seen holding a football in his hands. The megastar portrays the role of Vijay Barse in the movie. Vijay is the founder of Slum Soccer, an organisation that inspires underprivileged kids through football. The movie sheds light on his life and his teachings as a sports teacher. ‘ Jhund’ additionally features Vicky Kadian and Ganesh Deshmukh in lead roles. The biographical drama was announced in February 2019. It marks Manjule’s debut in Bollywood.
