Karan Tacker: “I travelled a lot with my parents, my mother loves the mountains while my father loves the beaches”
He’s quite an avid traveler and his posts via social media are proof of that. Over the last two years as pandemic stopped things, Karan Tacker utilised most of his free to explore places around him. With limitations on air travel, the Special Ops actor hit the roads and explored Maharashtra.
He says, “Traveling is a part of my life. I enjoy it extensively. However, in the last two years things have been difficult. So, I spent time exploring places closer to home in Mumbai, which I never did before.” Karan also used this period to spend time with his parents, who love travelling too. “I travelled a lot with my parents. My mother loves the mountains while my father loves the beaches. So there has always been a struggle to pick and choose (Laughs!).”
Speaking about his road trips, Karan shares, “I went to places like Pune, Lonavala and Mahabaleshwar. I loved Mahabaleshwar which I visited thrice. It was a pleasant surprise. I have enjoyed exploring it as it is full of history. I went to the forts too. They were just so beautiful. The idea was to have a safe getaway with your family where you are put up for 2-3 weeks at a stretch.”
Now that things are opening up, Karan is eager to fly once again. “I have missed being on a flight. The whole charm of going to the airports, sitting in the lounges and then taking off and landing in a different country or a city has a different appeal altogether,” he ends.
