Tiger Shroff talks about Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 clash: “I can’t compare myself with superstars”
Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 is releasing on Eid, April 29 this year. Interestingly, it is that very day when Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Runway 34 is releasing. At the launch of DaFa Kar, a song from Heropanti 2 today, Tiger addressed a question about the clash saying, “I can’t compare with major superstars. I have way too much respect for them. I am a fan of both of them (Devgn and Bachchan). Runway 34 is looking fantastic. I am looking forward to watch this film.”
Interestingly, in the past, Eid releases have been synonyms to Salman Khan and his movies. The actor usually have always prefered to release his movies on Eid. This year though it is Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 that have taken the space.
Tiger says, “(Iss industry mein) ek hi hai Tiger aur woh hai Salman Sir. I am just a billi in front of him. I am a Simba, a tiger cub in front of him. Film is releasing on Eid and the entire credit goes to director Ahmed Khan.”
The song DaFa Kar features Tara Sutaria alongside Tiger and the latter feels blessed to have vocals from the Academy Award victor and music director of the film, AR Rahman.
“I feel privileged about that. I am in awe of Rahman Sir. My mother had the honour to work with him. She told me how great he is. I was waiting to meet him and him being the voice of my face is a big milestone for me,” he says.
