ACCA, IIM Sirmaur sign MoU to boost finance and accountancy education

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has entered into a strategic partnership with Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance learning opportunities in accounting and finance.

The MoU was signed by Prabhanshu Mittal and Prafulla Agnihotri, signalling a joint effort to bring global perspectives into Indian finance education.

The collaboration aims to enrich academic offerings by integrating globally recognised qualifications with institutional learning, thereby fostering academic and professional excellence. ACCA and IIM Sirmaur seek to create a more robust learning ecosystem for finance professionals through this initiative.

Key areas of collaboration include faculty development through Train-the-Trainer workshops, joint conferences and seminars to promote global best practices, student engagement sessions focusing on career readiness and professional skills, and enhanced industry-academia interaction to improve employability.

The initiative aligns with the broader goal of preparing students to navigate a rapidly evolving financial landscape while strengthening India’s talent pipeline in the accountancy sector.
