Akshay Kumar pens down an emotional message as he shares a picture of his mother on his 54th birthday

It’s Akshay Kumar’s birthday and the actor shared a picture of his mother planting a kiss on the actor’s cheeks. Aruna Bhatia, mother of Akshay Kumar left for heavenly abode on 8th September 2021, a day before Akshay’s 54th birthday.

The 54-year-old actor took his Instagram to write a heartfelt note on his birthday. He shared a picture that features his mom and him and captioned it as, “Would have never liked it this way but am sure mom is singing Happy Birthday to me from right up there! Thanks to each one of you for your condolences and wishes alike. Life goes on”.

Akshay took to his Twitter to share the sad news of his mother demise. “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence,” he wrote. “My maa… Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti,” Akshay Kumar wrote.

Akshay’s Sooryavanshi co-star Ajay Devgn, and his Laxmii co-star Kiara Advani were photographed visiting Akshay Kumar’s house. Other stars spotted arriving at the actor’s house were Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora and filmmaker Karan Johar.
