Amit Sadh: “I have come a long way and I want to thank the audience as much I thank the industry folks”
Coming from a different city, making Mumbai home, and getting a career in Bollywood, Amit Sadh came a long way. In any case, the battle was difficult and the actor is just grateful towards the industry professionals and the audience for showing patience in him.
He says, “When I came to the city (from New Delhi) I wasn’t readymade. I have learnt everything on the job and became better with every single project that I worked on.” This he feels is not the case with the newer crop of actors who are entering showbiz.
He clarifies, “The youngsters you see today that are coming to showbiz are all so well-trained and prepared… they are all readymade before they step in. It wasn’t the case with me. So I am just thankful to everyone who stayed put with me, showed confidence in me and backed me to reach where I am today.”
