With the OTT version having come to an end of it’s very first season, Bigg Boss is all set to return to tv screens with it’s all new fifteenth season, and will witness everyone’s favourite superstar Salman Khan as the reality show’s host for the 11th time now.

All prepped to premier on Colors TV on Saturday, October 2, Bigg Boss 15 will feature some popular celebrities, a whole new theme and some exciting plot twists to look forward to, and here’s looking at why will the show be something much more grand and unique than all it’s previous seasons.

Premier Schedule

Bigg Boss 15 is scheduled to hit your tv screens from Monday-Friday on Colors TV at 10:30 pm and from Saturday-Sunday at 9:30 pm, premiering on Saturday, October 2.

Show’s Theme

As every year, Bigg Boss comes up with a catchy theme to suit each season with a different theme for a change and variety of content that the contestants give out.

However, this season is all set to witness an altogether out-of-the-box theme, that is sure to take it’s contestants as well as the audience by surprise.

Based on the theme ‘jungle’, the promo video rolled out by Colors TV shows that this year, it won’t be so easy for the contestants, who would have to survive in a forest, and fight for every comfort that they crave for. Before entering the house, they would be entitled to tasks in the forest and only after successfully competing and winning over others, will they be welcomed to the luxuries of the Bigg Boss house.

The previous OTT season revolved around the theme ‘#StayConnected’, where contestants were supposed to survive in the game by maintaining connections and sticking to their partners till the very end. Before that, Season 14 was based on the theme ‘Ab Scene Paltega’, where the contestants were subjected to shocking twists each time they felt that they were safe in the show.

Plot Twists

Reportedly, this year will also be subjected to a whole lot of surprising and shocking twists and turns while the contestants are at their gameplay.

The participants will be divided into teams, although we know how much the show vouches for individuality and solo gameplay, and that the contestants have been free to make alliances and side by people of their choice before, which might not be the situation now.

Things may escalate and turn topsy-turvy if the production team and the makers decide on teaming up certain contestants together.

Also, it has been reported, that the very gorgeous and the oh so popular leading ladies of the previous seasons, Rubina Dilaik, Gauhar Khan and Shweta Tiwari may enter the show with their own tribes.

Contestants

There are no such confirmed reports of the celebrities who would be entering in Bigg Boss 15, however certain big names are doing the rounds and might make it to the show this season.

Pratik Sehajpal is the first and the only confirmed contestant as of now, who chose to get away with the briefcase and won a direct entry ticket to Bigg Boss 15 during the OTT version’s grand finale, and is currently quarantining for Salman Khan’s show.

Some other tellywood celebs who have reportedly been approached for the show are, OTT winner, Divya Agarwal, Nishant Bhat and Shamita Shetty, who emerged as the first and the second runner-up respectively, Barkha Bisht, Donal Bisht, Tejasswi Prakash, Akasa Singh, Afsana Khan, Karan Kundrra, Nidhi Bhanushali and Umar Riaz.

The former reality show ‘Ace Of Space’ winner and ‘Splitsvilla’ finalist, Divya beat choreographer Nishant Bhat, who emerged as the first runner up, followed by Shamita Shetty, who emerged as the second runner up. Pressing the buzzer and taking away the reward suitcase containing a direct ticket to Bigg Boss 15, Pratik Sehajpal became the very first confirmed contestant for the fifteenth season of the reality show, hosted by Salman Khan, and is all set to premiere on October 2.

1. Pratik Sehajpal

Well, as already mentioned about our very first confirmed contestant to enter the Bigg Boss 15 house, Pratik is already quarantining for the show, and is definitely one of the strongest contestants that the world is about to witness.
With a charming personality and contagious smile, Pratik has already featured in several other reality shows before, and rose to fame with MTV’s ‘Love School’, ‘Ace Of Space’ and ‘Roadies Revolution’.

2. Divya Agarwal

Entries for the top two contestants from the Bigg Boss OTT show have been in talks for quite some time now, so our reality show queen and OTT winner Divya Agarwal definitely has high chances of making it to the Bigg Boss 15 house, however due to various reasons, her entry hasn’t been confirmed yet.

3. Shamita Shetty

One of the most talked about contestants in the history of Bigg Boss, Shamita Shetty made quite some headlines while journeying in the Bigg Boss OTT house, and is mostly remembered for her massive verbal spats and heated feuds with Divya Agarwal and Nishant Bhat, along with her mushy romance with the very charming gentleman of the show, Raqesh Bapat.

4. Nishant Bhat

Praised by fans and audience alike, as the OTT season’s greatest player, who possessed an organic and a strong connection with Muskan Jattana, along with a sharp mind full of brilliant gameplay, Nishant Bhat truly knows it all when it comes to balancing games and relationships.
A popular choreographer who has also worked with Karan Johar, for his song ‘Channa Mereya’, and featured as a dance guru in dance reality shows like ‘Super Dancer’, Nishant has shown his interest to participate in Bigg Boss 15, and claims it to be his dream show.

5. Tejasswi Prakash

A popular television face, Tejasswi rose to fame with the TV serial ‘Swaragini’, alongside Helly Shah, and was also a highly talked about contestant in the reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ hosted by Rohit Shetty.
Reportedly, the actress has quit ‘Swaragini’ almost two weeks ago, and is now in talks to enter Bigg Boss 15.

6. Karan Kundrra

King of reality shows, that he truly is, Karan Kundrra knows it too well when it comes to acing the game with pure excellence, as the man has already proved his worth in MTV’s previous reality shows like ‘Love School’ and ‘Roadies’.

7. Amit Tandon

Known for his participation in the singing reality show ‘Indian Idol’ season one, Amit Tandon is a celebrated television actor and a singer, who gained prominence with his role as Dr. Abhimanyu Modi in the popular show ‘Dill Mill Gayye’, and as Prithvi Bose in ‘Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai’.

8. Akasa Singh

The ‘Naagin’ singer, Akasa Singh made her Bollywood playback singing debut with ‘Kheech Meri Photo’ in the movie ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ and went on to become one of the most popular female Bollywood singers of her time. A close friend to Astha Gill, who is also a celebrated singer, and is known for her participation in the reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, this one will totally rule hearts with her stunning looks and melodious voice.

9. Umar Riaz

A surgeon by qualification, Umar already has a powerful fanbase due to his popular younger brother, known as the Bigg Boss 13 contestant and a model, Asim Riaz.
Having featured in a music video with Dalljiet Kaur, this man will truly be supported by his and Asim’s fans alike, and is in constant talks to feature in Bigg Boss 15.

10. Donal Bisht

The popular television actress has made her mark in popular shows like ‘Roop- Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’ and ‘Ek Deewana Tha’, and has reportedly agreed to be a part of Bigg Boss 15.

11. Simba Nagpal

This dashing young hottie rose to fame with the dating reality show ‘Splitsvilla’, and further gained prominence as an actor, with one of the most popular and loved television show ‘Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, and is soon to appear in Bigg Boss 15.

12. Afsana Khan

The soulful female voice behind the chartbuster Punjabi song ‘Titliaan’ alongside Harrdy Sandhu as the male voice, this gorgeous and talented singer has also given a nod to participate in the fifteenth season of the show.

The reality show queen lifted the prestigious trophy and took home the prize money worth 25 lakhs.

Divya is a popular face on television, and has appeared in several reality shows like, Splitsvilla, Roadies, Ace Of Space, and finally Bigg Boss OTT, in which she remains the most controversial and one of the strongest contestants ever!

She has also won ‘Ace Of Space’, hosted by Vikas Gupta, beating her then best friend and now boyfriend, Varun Sood, who was declared the 1st runner up.

Divya beat choreographer, Nishant Bhat, who emerged as the 1st runner up, and Shamita Shetty, who followed as the 2nd runner up, to win Bigg Boss OTT and get honoured by KJo himself.

Bigg Boss 7 contestant and winner, Gauhar Khan, was the first celebrity to congratulate Divya on her big win, even though she rode all along merely on her solo gameplay and no real bond, by taking to Twitter.

Gauhar tweeted, “Congratulations #DivyaAggarwal ! Winner takes it home ! well played #shamitashetty #nishantbhat ! #pratik see u in #bb15.”

Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Shefali Jariwala also tweeted, “congratulations @Divyakitweet you became first person to won the bigg boss otttrophy now good luck for bb15 #DivyaKiArmy congratulations to all”

He was rushed to Cooper Hospital after being found in a critical condition. Manoj blamed popular Bollywood actor, Sahil Khan, in his suicide note, putting the latter in deep trouble and severe allegations.

In conversation with ETimes, Sahil revealed, “I had met a boy named Raj Faujdar on a social networking site. He’s from Delhi and had made a video that Manoj Patil took Rs 2 lakhs from him and sold him expired steroids after which had developed some heart problems and skin issues as well.”

He further added, “I also said that the steroids racket should stop. Faujdar had said Manoj Patil was not returning his money and he had even sold his motorcycle to arrange for funds”.

Breaking his silence on Manoj’s allegations while claiming them to be false, Sahil shared, “All I have done is support the boy and stood against selling steroids since it’s a crime in our country. What if the guy had died after consuming expired steroids? This could be a publicity stunt with a communal angle. I have had no direct association with Manoj, I have not had any transaction with him either. I have supported a victim of expired steroids and the man who has committed the crime goes and attempts suicide and names in his note.”

Sharing a witty promotional video on social media, which teases his OTT debut on Disney Plus Hotstar anytime soon, SRK could be seen greeting his fans from his residence at Mannat, alongside a worried Rajesh Jais, who questions his fandom and popularity, fearing that it won’t last long.

Upon being asked about what he exactly means, Rajesh says that all the other popular actors have their movies and shows on Disney Plus Hotstar, to which SRK questions, “Accha? Kaun baaki sab?”

To this, Rajesh replies with a few popular celeb names including those of, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, and Sanjay Dutt.

Shah Rukh goes ahead to repeat his question of whether every other popular actor is on Hotstar, to which Rajesh confirms, “Matlab sab toh nahi hai”, and SRK throws yet another question, asking who is yet to make his debut and Rajesh replies, ” Sir, aap”.

Now, Farah had taken to Instagram, to share an adorable story of her pet poochie, breaking out the happy news of having recovered and tested negative for COVID-19.

Captioning the story as, “Look who’s most excited to know I’v tested negative @smoochythepoochy”, Farah seems to be really happy as she gets to reunite with her dog.

Previously, while talking about having tested positive for corona virus, Farah had shared, “I wonder if this happened coz I didn’t put my ‘kaala teeka’… Despite being double vaccinated, & working with mostly, double vaxxed people.. I’ve still managed to test positive for Covid…I’ve already informed everyone I came in contact with to get tested. However if I have forgotten someone (because of old age and fading memory) please test yourself. Hoping to recover soon.”

Before testing positive, Farah had filmed some special appearances on shows like ‘Super Dancer Chapter 4’ with judges Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Geeta Kapoor, and ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ with Deepika Padukone.

What deemed to be today’s highlight of the show, was the silent conversation between newly formed alliance, Divya Agarwal and Muskan Jattana, as they take forward their discussion by jotting down their thoughts on a white board as instructed by Bigg Boss.

Opening up about her past rejections and how they impacted her as a 20 year old back then, the actress revealed, “When I began, of course it was really disheartening as a 20-year-old to go through failures. You are not taught as a child, at least I wasn’t, that it’s okay to fail. Most Indian parents want you to be successful and they don’t teach you much how to cope with failure. So, it’s definitely not easy. But I soon realised that every film that I do won’t be a blockbuster or lapped up by the critics. When you talk about creating a project, it’s a group endeavour, so it’s a combined effort and you can’t take the whole blame of a project not working on yourself. All you can do is give your 100 percent. So, I realised early on that making a project work wasn’t in my hand, unless I am producing, directing, writing and acting in it.”
