Godrej DEI Lab launches second edition of India Included on Campus

Godrej DEI Lab, the diversity, equity and inclusion arm of the Godrej Industries Group, has announced the second edition of its DEI-focused case study competition, India Included on Campus.

The initiative has expanded to eight leading management institutes across India and will return to Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune as part of its campus roadshow.

This year’s case study challenge focuses on women’s returnship programmes, with students invited to develop practical solutions to help women re-enter the workforce after career breaks linked to marriage, motherhood or caregiving responsibilities.

The winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, while finalists will get an opportunity to interact with senior Godrej leadership.

Megha Goel, Chief Human Resources Officer, Godrej Properties, said: “When someone steps away from work, the question should not be whether they can pick up exactly where they left off, but how organisations can create the right conditions for them to move forward again. A well designed returnship programme has the potential to address that through a combination of meaningful work, the right support and a clear path for growth. It also asks us to rethink how we evaluate performance and potential when conventional career trajectories no longer tell the whole story. These are important questions for the next generation of business leaders to engage with, which is why taking a real workplace challenge into the classroom matters.”
