Earning a total box office collection of over ₹ 295 crores, the film is the second highest-grossing movie of Akshay Kumar.

The film is based on the life of scientists at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). These scientists have contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, which is India’s first interplanetary expedition. The film received good reviews from the critics and earned a total collection of around ₹ 279 crores at the box office.
