India’s Exports stood at $63.99 Billion in March, up 14.15%

India’s overall exports inclusive of merchandise and services sectors in March 2022 is estimated to be $63.99 billion, showing a positive growth of 14.15 per cent over the corresponding period of last year. Trade deficit for March stood at $18.51 billion as against $13.64 billion of March 2021.

In comparison to March 2020, the overall exports growth is 63.84 per cent, according data released by Commerce Ministry.

Overall imports in March 2022 are estimated to be $73.90 billion, showing a positive growth of 20.83 per cent over the same period last year, while the growth was 77.82 per cent over March 2020.

India’s overall exports in April-March 2021-22 are estimated to be $668.89 Billion, showing a positive growth of 34.34 per cent over the same period last year and a positive growth of 27.03 per cent over April-March 2019-20, the official data stated.

Overall imports in April-March 2021-22 are estimated to be $756.68 billion, showing a rise of 47.80 per cent over the same period last year and a positive growth of 25.49 per cent over April-March 2019-20.
