Janata Sahakari Bank Pune (JSBL Pune) has selected the TCS BaNCS™ Global Banking Platform to modernise its core and digital banking operations as part of a strategic push to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience. The initiative marks a major step in the bank’s digital transformation journey, aimed at building a future-ready, integrated banking ecosystem.
Tata Consultancy Services will deploy its award-winning TCS BaNCS™ suite to enable a seamless omnichannel experience for JSBL Pune customers across digital and physical touchpoints, including web, mobile, and branch channels. The platform’s modernised core and digital capabilities will support faster time to market, improved service delivery, and enhanced operational agility.
Through the TCS BaNCS Global Banking Platform, JSBL Pune will implement a comprehensive new-age banking solution covering core banking, payments, trade finance, and AML/KYC compliance functions. The transformation is expected to help the bank accelerate growth, strengthen credit quality and risk management frameworks, and improve overall enterprise performance, while expanding its market footprint.
The platform will also support JSBL Pune in meeting evolving regulatory requirements issued by the Reserve Bank of India, particularly in areas such as credit risk governance, digital banking norms, cybersecurity standards, and customer protection guidelines.
