Kamal Haasan tests positive for COVID-19 after his return from US trip

Actor Kamal Haasan recently took to his Twitter to share the news that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He also shared that he is quarantined in a hospital and urged people to stay safe. The star actor had traveled to the United States recently for the launch of his clothing brand and returned to the country to resume shooting for his upcoming film ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He had a cough, after which he went ahead to get the tests done and was tested positive.

The translation of his tweet is, “After returning from America, I had slight cough. Following a test it was confirmed that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have isolated myself in the hospital. Request everyone to be careful understanding that the speard of the virus hasn’t stopped.” Check it out.

 

This will postpone his shooting with Director Lokesh. The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. The other cast members include Arjun Das, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Shivani and Myna Nandhini. The fourth and final part of the movie is yet to be shot. The cast and crew members will have to wait for Kamal to recover before they finish the movie.
