Kriti Sanon: “Ganapath and Bhediya are two different genres, both I haven’t done before”

Kriti Sanon is extremely excited about her two firsts that she marks this year in Bollywood. The actress will be seen in her first horror-comedy Bhediya and her first action film, Ganapath. Her debut movie Heropanti featuring Tiger Shroff had action in it, yet it didn’t permit Kriti to do action in the movie. This time around she will be seen pulling off stunts by herself.

Speaking about both the filmss, Bhediya featuring Varun Dhawan and Ganapath featuring Tiger, Kriti says, “Ganapath and Bhediya are two different genres, both I haven’t done before. Ganapath is my first action film, where you will see me performing stunts, which is something I really wanted to do for a very long time. Bhediya, on the other hand, is my first horror-comedy. It has a very entertaining script and a very unique character. The look of my character in the film is also something that makes it stand out as it is something that I haven’t done before.”

While the genres might be new, these movies indeed reunite Kriti with her former co-stars. “I am working with Tiger after a gap of eight years (post Heropanti) in Ganapath. And I am working with Varun after a gap of seven years (post Dilwale) in Bhediya,” she says, also adding that a lot of her upcoming projects have given her an opportunity to work with her former co-stars like Kartik Aaryan (Luka Chuppi) in Shehzada, Rajkummar Rao (Bareilly Ki Barfi) in Hum Do Humare Do.
