Kriti Sanon: “I feel like taking more risks by doing something out of the box”
Like last year, this year too Kriti Sanon will be marking her many firsts. In 2021, Mimi gave her first solo lead film where she portrayed the protagonist in the titular role. This year as well, the actress is good to go to amaze the audience with her never-seen-before looks and performances. The success of isn’t putting pressure on the Bachchhan Paandey actress to be extra cautious with her moves, and Kriti instead is raring to go with her experiments.
She says, “I don’t think I take the pressure of a success of a film. It’s supposed to be a happy thing, so I take it that way. I do feel more confident in taking up projects like this. I feel like taking more risks by doing something out-of-the-box. I want to give my audiences something different to watch. I want them to see me in all colours. So yes, I would be doing many more films like this, but you’ll always see a mixed bag on my plate.”
Speaking about her way of choosing her scripts, Kriti says, “My process of picking films has been the same since the time I’ve joined the industry. It’s been more based on my gut feeling. If I like the world, the story or the character of the film, it’s a yes. And if there’s any kind of doubt that I’m really not a hundred per cent into it (the plot of the film), I end up not taking it.”
