Mahindra Launches Charge_IN Ultra-Fast Network; 1,000 EV Charging Points Planned by 2027

Mahindra today announced a major push toward expanding India’s public charging ecosystem with the rollout of its Charge_IN network of 180 kW ultra-fast chargers, with plans to install 1,000 charging points by end-2027.

The first stations have gone live at Hoskote (NH75) and Murthal (NH44). Equipped with dual-gun chargers, each hub can service four electric vehicles simultaneously and is designed to support both Mahindra and non-Mahindra EVs.

According to Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO – Automotive Division and Executive Director of Mahindra Electric Automobile Ltd., “Our goal is to enable EV users to travel long distances with the same confidence as traditional fuel vehicles. Charge_IN is built to make fast charging simple, reliable and widely accessible.”

Mahindra’s next-generation eSUVs — including the XEV 9e, BE 6 and upcoming XEV 9S — will be compatible with these chargers, achieving 20–80% charge in just 20 minutes. The stations will be strategically positioned along major corridors and supported by wayside amenities to make highway charging more convenient.

Users can locate, charge and pay through the Charge_IN by Mahindra app, while Mahindra customers can additionally use the Me4U app, which integrates access to 34,000 public charging points across multiple operators.
