Malabar Gold & Diamonds posts record Akshaya Tritiya sales, clocks 53% growth

Malabar Gold & Diamonds reported its strongest-ever performance during Akshaya Tritiya, registering approximately 53% year-on-year growth globally with total sales of INR 2,646 crore.

The company saw 71% growth in India and 22% growth across international markets, reflecting strong momentum across geographies. The performance was driven by robust consumer demand, enhanced customer engagement, and the company’s integrated manufacturing capabilities.

More than 1.25 lakh customers visited Malabar Gold & Diamonds showrooms during the festive period across India and international markets, supported by a mix of wedding-related purchases and increasing participation from young and first-time buyers.

The studded jewellery segment recorded a 45% growth, indicating a shift in consumer preference towards design-led and value-added products.
