Martyrs’ Day: Sanjay Dutt salutes the sacrifice of the heroes and pens a heartfelt note
Martyrs’ Day is observed in India on several days to honour those who laid down their lives for India. Today, January 30 is the date which marks the date of the death of Mahatma Gandhi by Nathuram Godse in 1948. On Martyrs’ Day, the President, the Vice President, the Prime Minister, the Defense Minister, and the three Service Chiefs assemble at Mahatma Gandhi’s samadhi at Raj Ghat and lay wreaths there.
Recently, Sanjay Dutt also took to his social media account to remember the heroes and wrote a heartfelt note, “The sacrifice of the martyrs is the foundation of our nation. Let’s honour and salute them for giving us our today…#MartyrsDay2022 #Rememberingtheheroes”.

In the interim, Sanjay Dutt will be next seen in ‘Prithviraj’ alongside Akshay Kumar. He is additionally playing the character of Adheera in ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’. The actor is also doing a movie with Ashutosh Gowariker titled ‘Toolsidas Junior’.
