Naga Chaitanya on Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha: ‘The way they have adapted it to our Indian culture is what intrigued me the most’

Naga Chaitanya, who is good to go to make his Bollywood debut with Laal Singh Chaddha, talked about what he found most ‘intriguing’ about the movie’s concept in a new interview. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the movie is the Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Hollywood classic Forrest Gump.

In a new interview with Pinkvilla, Chaitanya said he is eagerly anticipating the film’s release: “I’m very excited. I can’t wait for you guys to catch it in the theatre. Whatever we’ve shot has come out so well. I’m really excited about it. The team is really excited about it. So, can’t wait for you all to see it.”

Chaitanya explained what ‘intrigued’ him the most when the script was read out to him: “The way they have adapted it to our Indian culture and our Indian sensibilities is what intrigued me the most when I heard the script. They’ve covered some really important events down our timeline.”
