Nawazuddin Siddiqui after Best Actor win at Filmfare OTT awards: I want to keep exploring the inner psyche of every type of human
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been winning praise and accolades for his amazing performances in his hit OTT series.
After earning an International Emmy nomination, the actor won the Best Actor award at the Filmfare OTT awards on Thursday. The star won the honor for his performance in his film ‘Serious Men’.
Sharing his happiness Nawaz about the award and the roles he couldn’t imagine anything better than to play, he said in a statement to ETimes, “I always wanted to and will always want to do a lot more character-oriented concepts. I want to keep exploring the inner psyche of every type of human. ‘Serious Men’ and ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ gave me an opportunity to explore the inner world of the characters and that’s the kind of experiment I love to do and getting awarded for both the films back to back makes me more and confident and motivates me.”
Following his huge win, Nawaz took to his social media account to share a note that read, “Winning it in a row. Year 2020 for #RaatAkeliHai for Best Film & Best Actor Year 2021 for #SeriousMen again for Best Film & Best Actor. Such recognition motivates me to keep on experimenting.”
