Olive by Embassy Launches First Pune Properties, Targets 40+ Hotels in City by 2030
Olive by Embassy has entered the Pune market with the opening of two hotels—Olive Hotel Baner (48 keys) and Olive Hotel Wakad (30 keys). The properties are strategically located in business-driven micro-markets, designed to cater to Pune’s growing base of IT professionals, corporate travellers, and long-stay guests.
The dual launch reinforces Olive’s aggressive metro expansion roadmap, with Pune identified as a high-growth market due to its concentration of IT parks, corporate hubs, and sustained business travel demand. Hinjewadi’s status as India’s largest IT hub and the city’s infrastructure-led growth make it central to Olive’s west India strategy.
“Pune is a powerhouse of innovation and enterprise, driving demand for smart accommodation that matches the pace of its professionals,” said Kahraman Yigit, CEO & Co-founder, Olive by Embassy. “Olive Hotel Baner and Wakad deliver seamless access to IT parks, corporate offices, and lifestyle destinations, powered by our signature AI-driven model. This launch strengthens our metro footprint while scaling for Pune’s next growth phase.”
Olive Hotel Baner is positioned in an established corporate and residential neighbourhood, combining business accessibility with a strong social ecosystem. Olive Hotel Wakad addresses demand from Hinjewadi-based professionals and project teams, offering proximity to Westgate Business Park and quick connectivity via the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
The company plans to scale to over 40 hotels and 1200+ keys in Pune by 2030, spanning growth corridors such as Hinjewadi, Pimpri Chinchwad, Hadapsar, Kalyani Nagar, MG Road, Viman Nagar, and Koregaon Park. Across India, Olive is targeting 100+ new locations in 2026, alongside recent initiatives including the launch of Open Hotels and a partnership with Hilton for 150 Spark hotels.
