Priyanka Chopra, Ajay Devgn and others express grief over General Bipin Rawat’s demise

General Bipin Rawat, the Chief of Defense Staff( CDS) died on December 8 in a helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Cds Bipin Rawat, and 12 others were killed in this incident when the Mi-17VH helicopter they were going in crashed, leaving just a single survivor. Bollywood superstars took to online media to express condolences.

Ajay Devgn wrote, “Grieved to know about the untimely demise of Gen. Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, and his troops of the Indian Armed Forces. My deepest condolences to all their families.” Sanjay Dutt tweeted, “My thoughts and prayers to the families of General Rawat, his wife, and the 11 army personnel in the tragic crash. Om Shanti.” Vivek Oberoi expressed his grief on Twitter as he shared, “Deeply saddened to know about the demise of Gen #BipinRawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat. Sir, we salute you for 4 decades of selfless service to our motherland. I join our nation in mourning the loss of one of India’s finest soldiers. #RIP #OmShanti (sic).”

 

 

Priyanka Chopra wrote in her Instagram stories, “Such tragic news. Sending prayers and strength to the families dealing with this unimaginable loss. Om Shanti.”

Tamannaah Bhatia also posted a picture of Bipin Rawat and wrote on Twitter, “Extremely saddened on hearing about the tragic death of CDS General #BipinRawat, Mrs. Madhulika Rawat and 11 army personnel”.
