Karan Johar’s production house recently announced their cricket-based movie, “Mr and Mrs Mahi”. The film will mark the second collaboration of actors Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor. They first shared it in “Roohi”. The upcoming movie is directed by Sharan Sharma, who helmed Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Karan Johar took to their respective social media handles to announce the film. The video included the name of the actors and the name of their characters. Janhvi will be playing the role of Mahima whereas Rajkummar will be seen playing Mahendra.

While Rajkummar shared a similar caption, Janhvi wrote, “Time to pad up – it’s going to be a journey of two hearts chasing a dream! Presenting #MrAndMrsMahi, coming to cinemas near you on 7th October, 2022.”
Apart from this, Bollywood will be seeing two cricket-themed movies in theatres soon. One is Ranveer Singh’s ’83 and the other one is Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey, which is a remake of Telugu film with the same title.
