Shilpa Shetty visits Akshay Kumar’s house to offer condolences for his big loss
Akshay Kumar was shooting for his upcoming project, Cinderella in London when he heard about his mother’s hospitalisation. The actor left the schedule and rushed to Mumbai to be with his family. Akshay took to his social media and revealed how critical his mother was in the ICU. He shared a post asking netizens to pray for her recovery. “Touched beyond words at your concern for my mom’s health. This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayer of yours would greatly help,” he wrote.
Earlier today ( 8th September), Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia left for her heavenly abode. The 53-year-old actor took to his social media to share the sad news, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”
Ex-girlfriend and actress Shilpa Shetty also visited the actor’s residence. Shilpa was already busy prepping up for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations without her husband Raj Kundra. Several photos of the actress have surfaced on the internet. After the celebrations, Shilpa was spotted outside Akshay Kumar’s residence.
Director Rohit Shetty, actor Riteish Deshmukh, Ramesh Taurani, Karan Kapadia among others attended Aruna Bhatia’s funeral. According to a report in BollywoodLife, Akshay was inconsolable. It further added, “Akshay is very strong. He has seen so much in life. You will never find him weak, forget crying. But seeing him break down and cry like a little child at auntyji’s funeral was heartbreaking.”
