Sidharth Shukla death update: Shehnaaz Gill sits near the late actor’s feet before the last rituals took place

Sidharth Shukla breathed his last at the age of 40 on Wednesday. The actor’s last rites were held today (September 3) at the Oshiwara crematorium. The autopsy report released stated that there were no “internal or external injuries found.”

Shehnaaz was crying inconsolably at Sidharth’s last rites. There are videos of Shehnaaz running near the ambulance and crying out ‘Sidharth’. It was a video that shattered everyone’s heart.

There were other heartbreaking moments as well after the pyre was lit. Sambhavna Seth told Times Of India, Shehnaaz continued to cry almost non-stop, saying ‘Sidharth mera bachcha’. “Before the body was put on the platform for the pyre to be lit, it was kept for some time for everyone to pay their last respects. At this moment, Shehnaaz sat down at Sidharth’s feet. Post that, she even took part in the rituals.”

Sambhavna was very supportive of Sidharth winning BB13. She said, “I supported him a lot from the outside (on social media and spreading the good word) and he had called me to thank me for that. He was sitting with Vindu when he made that call to me. Vindu said ‘come over, let’s party’. I said ‘some other time pukka’. Little did I know uske baad milenge to aise milenge.”

Sambhavna even described Sidharth’s mother’s state. She said, “Aunty (Sidharth’s mother) was emotional but trying to be strong. Yesterday, I thought she was stronger. But not so much, today. It’s not going to be easy for her to overcome this. Dheere dheere jab log chale jayenge, it hits you harder. Hamari hi aisi haalat hai ki poocho mat. Agar yeh ho sakta hai toh kuch bhi ho sakta hai. We are hearing so many tragedies almost regularly for the past one-and-half years. It seems that the world is coming to an end,” Sambhavna concluded.
