Sonu Sood: “Different people show love in different ways, I always feel humbled by their gesture”

While the last two years Sonu Sood grabbed headlines for all the social work he did through the pandemic. Nonetheless, the fans of actor Sonu Sood got excited after he announced his brand new acting venture at the end of 2021. Titled Fateh, which is likewise produced by Sonu, has him portraying the role of a man who comes to the rescue of people facing cyber frauds.

When the actor disclosed the banner of the film, his fans bathe it with milk. Discussing this craze he witnessed, Sonu told BT, “It happened in Telangana and places close to Chennai. Well that’s how people show love and respect to actors there. It is a bit embarrassing, but I think they show love in a different way and I always feel humbled by their gesture.”

Speaking about working on the project in the time of the pandemic, Sonu says, “We are back to dealing with the crisis and so my attention is divided into rushing to the aid of people (in the Omicron wave) and then putting Fateh together. It’s tough to be shooting in pandemic because if one unit member tests positive then the whole schedule goes for a toss. With more and more people getting vaccinated I hope it gets safer to shoot. We are in pre-production stage and plan to take the project on floor in March.”
