Sonu Sood to distribute 1000 bicycles to school students and social workers in hometown Moga
Sonu Sood left no stone unturned to help individuals during the pandemic last year. From arranging bus services to taking care of the medical bills expenses of the poor, he and his team ensured that nobody suffers during the testing times. Presently, the actor is back with another initiative, Moga di Dhi (Moga Ki Beti).
Sonu is good to go to extend help to individuals alongside his sister this time. The brother-sister duo will distribute 1000 bicycles to schoolgirls and social workers of Moga on Tuesday (today). Almost all students from around 40-45 villages close to Moga will benefit from their campaign.
While talking about the cause, Sonu said, “The distance between school and house is really long, making it difficult for the students to attend classes in the extreme cold. To help them curb the problem, we aim at providing deserving girl students from class 8th to 12th bicycles. With our campaign, we shall also give these bicycles to social workers.”
Government school teachers have identified these deserving students of underprivileged backgrounds. Sonu’s sister Malvika Sood Sachar is a celebrated philanthropist and has been effectively working with Sood Charity Foundation.
