Bayern Munich won their first UCL game of the season as they beat Inter Milan by 2-0. Bayern had a good start to the season. Bayern was clearly dominating the play and they were not letting spaces for Inter Milan to create chances or taking shots. Bayern Munich took 11 shots on Inter’s goal.

It was a disappointing start to the new UCL season for Inter Milan. Bayern Munich scored the opener in the 25th minute when Leroy Sane finished from the Kimmich’s assist. The Bayern Munich gameplay was so fast that Inter Milan’s defence couldn’t handle it. Second goal for Bayern was an own goal scored by Inter Milan’s defender Ambrosio. Bayern clearly deserved this three points they earned in this game. The 2019/20 UCL champions Bayern will be hoping to add this trophy to their name this year as well.

Atletico Madrid, in the interim, make another trip to Manchester – this time to City, as they will meet Pep Guardiola’s side for a spot in the semis. Villarreal were drawn with Bayern Munich, while Liverpool take on the Portuguese side SL Benfica in the remaining quarterfinals.

Ramos made a shocking move from Real Madrid, where he was considered a club legend, to Paris Saint Germain, in the 2021 summer transfer window. However, the Spaniard faced several injury issues that prevented him from returning to the pitch after moving to PSG. Such was the severity of his injury that PSG was reported to be contemplating canceling his contract too.

Things took a change for the best, and now everyone will get to witness the likes of Ramos on the field. Although, it’s still not sure if he will feature on the field today. According to Marca, the PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino talking about Ramos making his debut, said, “I don’t know. It is important to see his progress. One thing is to be able to train and it’s another to be at the level to be competitive, it is not the same.”
