Jude Bellingham could have left the club this summer but he decided stay at Bundesliga’s side for one more season. Liverpool FC who were desperately searching for the central-midfielder this summer transfer window wanted him this summer but ended up signing Arthur Melo from Juventus FC.

However Arthur Melo joined Liverpool FC on loan and it is still expected that they won’t be taking a back step in signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund next season. Manchester United also remain interested but the deal with the Red Devils looks unlikely for now.

It seems the midfielder will snub all their interested clubs and will prefer move to the Champions League winners (2021/22) Real Madrid. However it is still not confirmed and he could end up at any club next season.

English Premier League has decided to postpone games ahead of the Queen’s funeral and due to lack of Police officers in the stadium. Many police officers have been told to be present at Queen’s funeral. There are also not many security cameras in the stadium and thus they have to make this decision ahead of this two big games.

This was Sunday’s big game clash (Chelsea vs Liverpool) which happens every week, where top teams play against each other. The fans will not be able to witness one of the blockbuster games this weekend as it has been officially postponed. This was going to be Graham Potter’s first game as Chelsea manager in the Premier League after he was announced last week by the club.

However, these two teams will be seen playing in the UEFA Champions League in the mid-week.

It was a dream start for the Serie A side Napoli as they were too good in their first game of the season. Napoli could have scored more as they created a lot of chances in the first 45 minutes. Jurgen Klopp was very disappointed after the game and said they have to reinvent everything.

Napoli opened the scoring in just 5th minute when they were awarded a penalty. Anguissa who had one of the best games in Champions League scored the second goal for Napoli with his left-foot. Napoli were 3-0 up in the first half. They got the fourth goal just after referee blew the whistle for the second half.

Liverpool FC pulled one back after Luis Diaz scored in the 49th minute. But a win from there was looking very difficult for Liverpool and thus they had to settle it down with no points in the end.

The Merseyside derby didn’t go as it was expected and used to be earlier. Liverpool FC tried hard to earn all three points from this game but couldn’t find the net. All the credits goes to Everton’s goalkeeper Jordan Pickford who made some amazing saves to keep Liverpool away from goals. In the first half, Liverpool FC took more than 5 shots which were saved by the English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. He also made some great saves in the second half to help Everton earn a single point from this game.

Jurgen Klopp wasn’t happy after seeing his team’s performance in this game. Liverpool won their last two games, one was against Bournemouth which was an emphatic 9-0 victory but the second one was against Newcastle United where they won by 2-1. After drawing their first two games and losing to Manchester United, Liverpool FC has dropped points again in the Merseyside derby.

1. Aubameyang to Chelsea FC: Former Arsenal Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined the rival team Chelsea FC on the deadline day. He joined the side from FC Barcelona. It is a two-year deal with an option to extend.

2. Marcos Alonso to Barcelona: Former Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso has joined Barcelona as their striker came here (Aubameyang). Alonso was one of Barcelona’s priority signing for the left-back position.

3. Arthur Melo to Liverpool FC: Arthur Melo has joined the ‘Reds’ for this season. The deal is not permanent. Arthur will play for Liverpool on a season long-loan. Arthur Melo will be back in Juventus FC after the 2022/23 season.

4. Denis Zakaria to Chelsea FC: Juventus midfielder has joined Chelsea FC on loan with an option to buy after this season. The deal was unexpected and it happened at the last minute of the transfer window.

5. Antony to Manchester United: Antony’s deal happened a few days ago but was made official on the deadline day. Antony joined the ‘Red Devils’ on a permanent deal from Ajax until 2027.

6. Manuel Akanji to Manchester City: Akanji joined the Champion side from Borussia Dortmund on the deadline day. The fee for the defender was around £16.7 million.

Liverpool FC got defeated by their old rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford by 2-1. Jurgen Klopp’s Red played well in this game but could have ended up with a single point. In the first half, Newcastle United’s debutant Alexander Isak who they bought this summer on a record transfer fee bagged his first goal.

It was a perfect start for the Magpies (Newcastle United) as they were leading the game in half-time. Liverpool FC came on as a better team in the second half as they did find the equaliser in the 61st minute when Roberto Firmino scored an amazing goal.

The score was levelled by 1-1 even after 90 minutes. But added time proved to be helpful for the Reds as Carvalho scored in the 90+8 minute to seal three points.

Diaz has performed well for Liverpool since moving from Benfica’s fierce rivals Porto in January, and he restored the Reds’ two-goal lead in the 88th minute.
