Abhinav Shukla spoke with SpotboyE.com, he said that he and his wife Rubina Dilaik met Shehnaaz’s mother. He also mentioned that she is coping well. He shared, “I pray and wish all the strength to Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s family. I and Rubina met her mother and she is coping well. I pray that god assuages their anguish.”

Abhinav Shukla had earlier told SpotboyE, he and Sidharth had started their careers together with Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest in 2004 and they both shared the same passion for bikes. “Well, we started our careers together, worked on a show Babul Ka Aangan. One of Sidharth’s closest and best friends, popular actor and ‘Commando’ fame, Vidyut Jammwal, has also taken to Instagram, to share a loving tribute while recalling some fond memories and heartwarming life moments that the two shared.

Vidyut, who began his modelling career together with Sidharth, went on to share a great bond with him, and describes the late actor as one of the best person that he’s ever met.

Sharing a video on Wednesday, September 8, Vidyut talked about Sidharth’s personality and morals, saying, “Sidharth Shukla is the only man I know who never took a woman’s name. When someone asked him if he had a scene with any woman, he would ignore that and not answer. I have never heard him mention a woman’s name. This is a great quality of a man.”

He further shared, “Our friendship dates back to 20 years. Sidharth Shukla has been my best friend because I never had that kind of friendship with anyone else. He was my first gym partner in Mumbai. I remember that in 2004, I had entered the gym and saw this very tall, good-looking guy. My cousin introduced me to him and since then, we became gym partners and eventually, good friends. So when I last met Sidharth, I told him, ‘You are the only guy in my life whose clothes I remember when I first met’. I had some of my best training sessions with him. He just had one mantra — ‘To be the man, you have to beat the man’.”

Speaking about his last rendezvous with Sidharth, the ‘Khuda Haafiz’ actor shared, “On July 15, I got a call from him asking to meet. When he reached, he said that there was a lot of media outside. We talked about the pap culture and how actors call up photographers to click them on various locations. However, Sidharth Shukla never once called them. Media loved him a lot. He respected the paps. He was very gracious towards them.”

In his Instagram post, he apologized to the late actor for not keeping in touch with him. Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaagey actor didn’t know whom to blame whether his social awkwardness or because he got busy, he kept on thinking they would cross paths someday. Remembering the time he spent in Bigg Boss 14 along with Sidharth Shukla, he was impressed by the late actor for his competitive nature, his values and his attitude to not give up till he won the show.

Eijaz expressed being honoured to have got to know him and admired the way the actor was fond of his food, salad and most importantly his protein shake. In the end, he stated the late actor being his idol and promising him to take his teachings to reach great heights.  He ended his note by writing, “Thank you for letting me be a part of your life. Writer and producer Nivedita Basu also sounded disturbed and emotional talking about the late actor.

“When I came to know about this I could not believe it at all. I have been in Kerala for the past ten days and the area does not have a good network. So the moment I saw this news I was in disbelief and thought this is some fake news and now Sidharth would clarify. And I wanted to dial his number to check if this is a prank or something but didn’t have the strength. I wanted to know how such a thing could possibly happen to a fit guy like Sidharth,” said the director, Nivedita Basu.

She further continued, “This was his time, he was soaring. In fact, I had offered him a project a few months back and he told me ‘Nivs now is my time to earn and roll’ and I had said ‘yeah do that Sid..tera time aa gaya’, now you should fly high.”

She even talked about Sidharth’s short temperament. She said, “Sid was a slightly short-tempered guy but super fun and softie inside when it came to a lot of things. Being short-tempered can be misconstrued as angry, but he was a different kind of a person altogether. I would say he was less patient and a loving soul”.

Nivedita concluded by saying, “As I said we had offered him something but God didn’t give us the opportunity to work together. (Pauses) I’m just wondering if we are feeling this much pain, how much his family must be going through. May they find peace and hope that Sid is in a happier place. Om Shanti”.
