South African captain David Miller says he loves Ms Dhoni. Miller has revealed that his favorite finisher in the cricketing world is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Miller has played every game in this ongoing ODI series against India. He did play in the T20I series against them and also scored an emphatic century in the last game. Miller also finishes the game well and that’s why he is one of the important players of South Africa now.

“Ms Dhoni is my favourite finisher in the world,” said David Miller via Star Sports ahead of the third ODI between India and South Africa.

David Miller was also one of the batters to watch in the IPL 2022. He played with the new franchise named Gujarat Titans and also won trophy with them under Hardik Pandya’s captaincy.

Now, India will be looking to win the series against South Africa. This matches and series are preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma and company look a great team but still needs to figure out some things before the big tournament as skipper himself told in his recent interview. Fans expect some changes in the playing XI of India as they can give opportunity to some faces who are into the squad of World Cup but haven’t got much game time.

Temba Bavuma expects a games to be exciting and competitive against India. South African captain is pretty much confident on his team and feels the series will be a great blockbuster to watch.

“I expect a good, strong and competitive series,” said Temba Bavuma in the pre-match press conference as reported by Sportskeeda ahead of the first T20I against India.

The Indian cricket team will be looking to capture this series as well as it will boost the team’s confidence ahead of the T20 World Cup. Indian cricket team and South Africa has also faced each other before this year. The teams met each other just after IPL 2022 and that series was tied hy 2-2. Rishabh Pant was made skipper of India for that particular series.

Indian cricket team will play the first T20I against South Africa on 28th September, Wednesday in Thiruvananthapuram.

Indian Cricket team, led by Virat Kohli, is set to land in South Africa by December 9. The three-test series will start on the 17th of December.  Ahead of the series, the foreign ministry of South Africa has put out a statement in which they said, “South Africa will take all precautions necessary to ensure the health and safety of the Indian teams,” reports PTI.

The ministry also thanked India for showing solidarity with South Africa in these testing times by not withdrawing their India “A” squad, who will play their second test from Tuesday onwards. They further added that they are grateful for BCCI’s decision to continue the senior team’s tour. This has been a critical decision for South Africa, considering that several of their neighboring countries and countries around the globe have put a travel restriction from South Africa.

This series marks the 30th anniversary of South Africa’s readmission to international cricket. In 1991 it was India that became the first country to host South Africa after they were banned by ICC in 1970 due to the apartheid policy of the government. The ministry is also planning to celebrate this event on 2nd January in Cape Town. This event will also highlight the strength of the bond between India and South Africa.
