Arsenal scored their opening goal in the 24th minute which was also their closing goal. It was again the man in form named Bukayo Saka who gave the important lead to Arsenal FC in the first half itself which was enough for them to take all three points in this game against Bodo. It was again a good build play from Arsenal started from the back. After Lokonga took a shot, it was blocked and bounced back to Saka who made no mistake in making the scoreline 1-0. The game ended with this scoreline.

Arsenal who are on the top of the Premier League table (2022/23) are in the first position in their UEFA Europa League’s group as well. Arsenal are no doubt the strong contenders to win the trophy (Europa League 2022/23) this year.

Manchester United finally got the three points they were desperately searching for 90 minutes. Manchester United players were impressed by the Omonia’s goalkeeper named Francis Uzoho. Francis made 11 saves in the game and only conceded in the stoppage time, which was an incredible performance.

Omonia’s goalkeeper was very close to help his team go back to their home with one point. Manchester United had 34 shots on Omonia FC’s goal as compared to the opposition’s 2. Man United also enjoyed most of the possession in the game. Manchester had so many good chances but thanks to Uzoho who just conceded a single goal which also came in the end.

Substitute Scott McTominay has scored this goal in the 93rd minute. This was assisted by another substitute named Jadon Sancho who gave a sweet pass from the left side.

Arsenal started their goal story in the 23rd minute when forward Nketiah scored a tap-in after the shot was deflected from the post and they deservingly led by 1 goal to nil. Arsenal’s central-defender Rob Holding who scored his first goal for Arsenal recently, scored another for the team in the 27th minute. The goal was assisted by Fabio Vieira and Arsenal had firm control over the game especially after this second goal.

Arsenal after leading the first half by 2-0 scored the third in the 84th minute. It was new signing Fabio Vieira who also recorded a goal to his name in this game after a beautiful assist to Rob Holding in the first half. The man in form Gabriel Jesus assisted Vieira to seal the game and have all the three points in the game.

Manchester United started the game off very well but wasn’t able to find the net. Man United had so many chances in the first 45 minutes but they were trailing by 1-0 at the end of the half. Manchester United conceded a goal on the counter attack made by Omonia from the corner. Manchester United did equalise in the second half when English forward Marcus Rashford was brought in to the game for his teammate Jadon Sancho. Rashford did justice to Bruno Fernandes’ wonderful ball from their own half.

The second goal was a great gameplay by Manchester United substitutes namely Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford. After Lisandro Martinez gave the ball to Rashford, he flicks it to Martial who took a shot outside the box. Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t find his 700th career goal despite having so many good chances. Cristiano did have an assist in the game which contributes to United’s third goal scored by Marcus Rashford again.

Manchester United started the game a bit slow but slowly adapted to the pace Erik ten Hag wants. The first goal came in the 17th minute after a good gameplay in the midfield. Christian Eriksen found out a great pass to Jadon Sancho and he did no mistake in putting it back of the net. Manchester United did find the second goal in the second half.

This was scored by Cristiano Ronaldo from the penalty spot. A foul made on Diogo Dalot costs FC Sheriff another goal in the first half. This was Ronaldo’s first-ever goal in the UEFA Europa League in his very first season. With this victory, Manchester United registered their first three points of the season and currently staying at 2nd position in the group.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the all-time top goal-scorer of the UEFA Champions League and hasn’t playing in the league for the first time in his career. The 38-year old has made a new beginning on Thursday, 15th September when Manchester United were up against Sheriff in the UEFA Europa League.

After losing their first game in the league against Real Sociedad, Manchester United are currently leading against Sheriff by 2-0 after he first 45 minutes. Ronaldo scored his first Europa League from the penalty spot when the club was awarded a penalty for the foul made by hosts’ defender. Cristiano Ronaldo hit it straight and started his goal tally in the new league. Ronaldo would be hoping the club win this game to register their first win this season.

Premier League released an official statement regarding this issue and clearly mentioned the scheduled games of this weekend will be postponed to some other week due to the demise of Queen Elizabeth II. On Thursday, when UEFA Europa League games were going on, the news of Queen’s death went out and the players and fans also kept a minute of silence for her.

Despite Premier League decided to postpone the games, UEFA said they won’t do the same and the games will be played as per schedule. There are so many big games to be played in the UEFA next week, be it UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA conference League.

Bayern Munich will face FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC will face Ajax FC, defending champions Real Madrid will play RB Leipzig, City will be against Borussia Dortmund.

Only a single goal was scored in this game which came out from the spot. Erik ten Hag’s men were dominating the possession as well as the game in the first 45 minutes. The ‘Red Devils’ had a chance to kill the game in the first half as they created a lot of good chances but couldn’t find the net in any of that. This costs them in the second half. When Manchester United’s new defender Lisandro Martinez tried to block the shot it accidentally hit to his hand and it was a very controversial decision from the referee to give it a penalty. Erik ten Hag along with Man United fans weren’t happy with this decision from referee.

VAR checked it and the decision from the match referee stood. Real Sociedad’s Mendez scored from the spot and win it for them. It was a not a good start for Manchester United and now they will look to bounce back in remaining 5 games in the group stages.

On Wednesday night, Barcelona played Bayern Munich in a virtual qualifier for the Catalonian side. With Benfica playing Kyiv in the other match, Barcelona was required to win the game to qualify for the Round of 16. The German side, however, had no issue in breaking the resistance of Barcelona.

The game started with a positive approach from Barcelona. They looked even threatening on the counter, but one goal was all it took for Bayern to come back into the game. And that goal was provided by Thomas Muller in the 34^th minute of the game. After that, it was a landslide victory for Bayern, who scored two more goals in 43^rd minute Sane and 62^nd minute by Musiala to send Barcelona packing into the UEFA Europa Lague.

Barcelona looks to be in deep waters in this season. They had their worst start to their Champions League and are not very comfortable in the Spanish League either. Now, they are knocked out of the Champions League in the group stage, which last happened in the 2000/1 season. The fortress that Barcelona was holding for 21 years has crumbled; it will be interesting to see how they approach the UEL and La Liga.
