FC Barcelona scored three goals in this game without a reply and that was a complete dominating performance from them. The home side didn’t let the visitors have more than one shot on target in the whole game. All the three goals that were scored in this game came in the first half itself.

Robert Lewandowski started the scoring in the 31st minute with a good pass from Jordi Alba before he turns and made an exquisite finish in the end. The Polish striker completed his brace 4 minutes later. This time it was assisted by the Kopa Trophy winner Gavi.

Three minutes later Robert Lewandowski’s brace, the young Spanish forward named  Ansu Fati scored his first in the game which was backheel from the forward to make the scoreline 3-0 in the 38th minute. Barcelona are now three points behind league leaders Real Madrid who beat them last weekend by 3-1 at Santiago Bernabeu.

FC Barcelona however is not playing well in the UEFA Champions League (2022/23) and is on the verge of getting out of the competition.

Barcelona needed a win to be in the competition and to go into the next round but the situation is now more difficult for Xavi’s men. Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez wasn’t happy with the team performance and was very angry to see that they couldn’t win the game. Xavi in the post-match interview said that his team doesn’t deserve to be in the Champions League, the way they played this season.

“I’m very disappointed, sad, frustrated. I’m angry. I have to be self-critical, we don’t deserve to play in the Champions League. It hurts me, but it’s the truth,” said Xavi Hernandez in the post-match presentation, shown on FC Barcelona’s official app.

It took only 17 minutes for star Spanish midfielder Pedri to score the first goal of the game which was also the last. The goal was very well hit by the youngster. A clearance mistake by Celta Vigo gives chance to Pedri to fire the shot from a very close range. Celta Vigo did create some chances to equalise in the game but Barcelona’s defence was so hard to break that they had to settle without a single point in this game.

Barcelona have again gone to the top of the table with this victory with same points as defending champions Real Madrid. Barcelona will play Real Madrid next week in the La Liga where both the best teams will fight for the 1st place.

FC Barcelona scored only a single goal in the game but that was enough for the giants to take crucial points. It was some goal from Robert Lewandowski. The newly signed Striker from Xavi’s side named Robert Lewandowski is brilliant since the start of the season. The Polish striker can’t stop scoring goals for the club as this was his 12th goal for Barcelona in just his 9th apperance for the club.

The goal from Lewandowski was one of his best in the Barcelona jersey. Young star Ansu Fati does a bit of skill to attract defenders and then pass it to the main man (Robert Lewandowski). The striker didn’t make any mistake and finish it off in the bottom corner after cutting down one centre-back of Mallorca.

This goal from Lewandowski helped Barcelona to go top of the table again. This was their 6th victory in the 7 games they played this season (La Liga 2022/23) so far.
