TAURUS and HIPPO Return as Ashok Leyland Targets High-Horsepower MHCV Segment

Ashok Leyland has reintroduced its legendary TAURUS and HIPPO trucks, marking a strategic push to strengthen its presence in the high-horsepower MHCV segment amid growing demand from mining, infrastructure, and construction sectors.

Built on the company’s AVTR modular platform, the new TAURUS and HIPPO range offers multiple configurations and feature options aimed at improving lifecycle economics and fleet profitability.
