Team Drushti Wins Top Honour at Tata Technologies’ InnoVent 2026 Hackathon

Team Drushti from CMR College of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad, emerged as the winner of InnoVent 2026, Tata Technologies’ national engineering innovation hackathon focused on smart mobility.

The team secured the first prize of ₹3,00,000 for its project on intelligent customization of vehicle infotainment systems for visually impaired drivers based on medical conditions.

The second prize of ₹1,00,000 was awarded to Team The T-Factor from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, for its edge-based AI solution aimed at preventing vehicle breakdowns. Team SwarmSync from the International Institute of Information Technology (I²IT), Pune, won the third prize of ₹50,000 for its intelligent fleet operations management system using V2X communication.

In addition to the winners, Tata Technologies announced career opportunities for all 42 finalists, enabling them to continue their innovation journey within the organisation.
