Vaani Kapoor opens up on her south career, says she did wait it out
Since far too long, Bollywood actors have loved to explore their true capacity down south. While there are a few sorts of people who can figure out how to adjust it in multiple industries – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, just like to be a part of big fat film projects as an experience. Very few may remember that Vaani Kapoor tried her hand down south too. In 2014, the actress was seen as the lead heroine of Tamil and Telugu flick Aaha Kalyanam.
Inquire as to whether she didn’t hang on to take up other south movies and Vaani says, “Actually, I have not planned anything. Whatever opportunities came my way I have either green lit them or rejected them depending on what I felt right to do at that point of time.”
The actress says that post the south film she got busy working on Befikre. “My entire focus after that film shifted to this one film. I got busy prepping up for the part. Frankly, I would have loved to explore south films, but nothing great or out of the box came my way. I did wait it out, yet, just nothing…,” she says.
