Ranveer Singh Starrer as Kapil Dev is directed by Kabir Khan. It’s the story of the Indian cricket team that brought the World Cup home in 1983. 83 was set to release in April 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic.
#2 Bellbottom
This movie has a stellar cast of Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi among others. Bell Bottom was expected to release theatrically on April 2, 2021.
#3 Laal Singh Chaddha
A movie with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of the Tom Hanks film Forrest Gump
#4 Sooryavanshi
Sooryavanshi was the first one that got hit by the covid-19 lockdown. This one serves as another cop-based movie after Singham and Simmba that stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
#5 Atrangi re
A film directed by Anand L. Rai that has a cast of Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar. AR Rahman is composing the music of the film. The film is written by Himanshu Sharma.
#6 Jersey
Here, Shahid plays the role of a cricketer who returns to the game in his 30s. This film is a remake of a Telugu film with the same title. It also stars Mrunal Thakur. It’s directed by Gowtam Tinnanauri who also directed the original.
#7 Gangubai Kathiawadi
The most awaited movie of the year! Alia Bhatt is seen playing the lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next. It’s based on Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
#8 Jayeshbhai Jordaar
Another Ranveer Singh starrer is a movie directed by Divyang Thakkar. Ranveer plays a Gujarati man in the film who is said to be a “humorous entertainer.” Shalini Pandey will also make her debut in the Bollywood industry through this film.
#9 Brahmastra
Brahmastra has been in the making for a couple of years now and is mostly expected to release in theatres in 2021. This movie too has a stellar cast that consists of some brilliant actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy. The film is directed by Ayan Mukherji.
#10 Dhamaka
A movie by Ram Madhvani who is well known for ‘Neerja’. Kartik Aaryan plays a journalist named Arjun Pathak.
#11 Tejas
We’re awaited to see Kangana Ranaut on the screen and here it is! The Queen actress will be playing the role of a fighter pilot in Tejas. It is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara.
#12 Phone Bhoot
In the comic frame will be seen Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter. It’s helmed by the maker of Mirzapur- Gurmeet Singh. As per the reports, the leads play ghostbusters in the film.
