Axis Bank Introduces AI-Driven Business Profile Update Service

Axis Bank has rolled out an AI-powered ReKYC solution for non-individual Current Account customers across India, transforming a traditionally manual and document-heavy process into a guided AI-assisted workflow.

The bank said the solution covers key customer constitutions accounting for nearly 90% of ReKYC volumes. It uses advanced document intelligence to automatically identify, extract and validate multiple KYC documents submitted within a single PDF.

According to Axis Bank, the system proactively flags missing documents, data gaps and quality issues during data entry itself, shifting compliance checks from a reactive approach to a prevention-led model.

The bank stated that early outcomes indicate reduced rework and follow-ups, faster turnaround times and improved productivity for branch and operations teams. The guided workflows are also expected to reduce Not First Time Right (NFTR) rates and improve First Time Right performance.
