Godrej Enterprises Group strengthens India’s aero engine manufacturing capabilities
Godrej Enterprises Group said its aerospace business is expanding India’s aero engine manufacturing capabilities through precision engineering, indigenous development and strategic partnerships with global aerospace companies.
The company highlighted that it has capabilities to manufacture all modules of an aero engine, making it the only private player in India with such expertise.
Its aerospace business currently works with global aerospace OEMs including Boeing, Safran Aircraft Engines, GE Aerospace, Rolls-Royce and RTX.
The company said exports from the aerospace business grew by more than 30 per cent, while overall business growth stood at nearly 25 per cent year-on-year.
Godrej is also investing in R&D, design capabilities and digital manufacturing technologies to move from built-to-print to built-to-spec aerospace solutions.
Maneck Behramkamdin, Business Head, Aerospace Business, Godrej Enterprises Group, said:
“Aero engine ecosystems are built on deep engineering capability, uncompromising quality, resilient supply chains, and sustained execution credibility. Our journey reflects the trust we have earned from global OEMs and our long-term commitment to indigenising critical aerospace systems. With continued investments in innovation, advanced manufacturing, and people capability, Godrej is well positioned to support India’s aero engine ambitions and contribute meaningfully to the global aerospace value chain.”
