Bigg Boss 15 ex-contestant Donal Bisht: “My focus has always been work and I look forward to a shining future for myself”

While contestants after doing Bigg Boss have some time off, Donal Bisht dived right back into work. Donal, who was eliminated from BB15 months prior, says,  “After Bigg Boss life has been good. I had never expected to be a part of the Bigg Boss house because the offer had come to me many times. This was in fact the fourth time I was approached, so I thought let’s do it! I went inside and I think it was worth it. Even though it was a short journey, it was impactful. After coming out, I got a great response from everyone. Even now when I meet people they say that they loved me inside the house. And these are people who I have just met at malls or on street. As an actor, you get appreciated for your work but when you are appreciated for the person that you are and your conduct, it feels really nice. It makes me realise that I was raised as a good human being and all credit for that goes to my parents.”

Prior to going into the Bigg Boss house, Donal was shooting for the Telugu film Dare To Sleep and is back on the set now. “I have already started working again. I have completed the final shooting schedule of the film. There is another music video which is ready,” she says.

Discussing her shift toward the South film industry, she says, “I never planned that I would do South films, it just happened. I did so many television shows and after that I thought I needed to ease off a little and focus on my craft. So I wanted to do something different. There were some film offers. I liked the story and content of Dare To Sleep and took it up. South films are doing so well these days. Bollywood has been going in for South remakes for a while now. Who knows my movie too may be chosen for a Bollywood remake?”

Other then work, Donal has forever been tight-lipped about her own life. She says she is single and there isn’t a lot occurring on her personal front. While working she is in the South or in Mumbai, and when she gets some free time, she goes to Delhi to be with her family. She says, “My focus has always been work and I look forward to a shining future for myself. Actually my work life is my personal life and I do not differentiate between the two.”
