Virat Kohli praises Suryakumar Yadav for his stunning knock against Hong Kong

Indian cricket team are in the top 4 of the Asia Cup after they defeated Hong Kong on Wednesday night, 31st August. Suryakumar Yadav was named ‘Player of the match’ for scoring 68* runs in just 26 balls against Hong Kong. It was a fiery innings from the Mumbai Indians’ batter Suryakumar Yadav. Former Indian captain Virat Kohli praised Suryakumar Yadav for this innings.

Virat was the one who witnessed this innings very closely as he was on the non-strike end when Suryakumar Yadav was hitting sixes all over the ground. Virat Kohli is happy to see that the youngsters are performing well. Virat enjoyed this innings from Suryakumar Yadav as he also bowed to him during the first innings. Suryakumar Yadav also felt good when Virat showed this gesture to him.

“It was a brilliant knock. To watch it from the other end. I’ve seen so many from distance when you play in the IPL against us or that being done to a lot of teams but this was my first experience of watching it very closely,” said Virat Kohli on Suryakumar Yadav via BCCI.

Virat Kohli also played well in this game as he scored a half-century and remained at crease with Suryakumar Yadav till the end of the first innings.
