Aston Villa grab a point from Manchester City

Premier League side Manchester City has again dropped points as they drew to Aston Villa on Saturday, 4th September on the 6th matchday. Manchester City was up against Aston Villa as visitors. The defending champions couldn’t find the winner and thus had to settle it down for a single point in the game.

In the first half, it was a dominating performance from Pep Guardiola’s men which was was expected from the champion side. Despite creating many chances, City couldn’t score in the first half. Manchester City did find their first goal in the game in the 50th minute. It was Man City’s new signed striker again named Erling Haaland. A perfect ball from Kevin de Bruyne and a magnificent finishing from Erling Haaland did the job for Man City and they scored the opening goal. This was Erling Haaland’s 10th goal in the 6 Premier League games he played so far. This is the most goals scored by any player in their first 6 appearances in the Premier League.

However it wasn’t enough as Leon Bailey of Aston Villa equalised in the 74th minute to earn a point in this game.
